With the increasing costs of gas prices, electric and fuel cell vehicles are becoming increasingly an attractive alternative to gas powered vehicles. Electric cars, minibuses, carts and buggies, small trucks, scooters and bicycles can be a great form of transportation within cities as well as the country side with ranges of up to 150km per charge by using Lithium based batteries with long life cycles (more than 2.000 charges), lightweight and great durability.

Despite the often apparent higher acquisition cost, the significantly lower electricity cost of battery charging compared to the equivalent gas price as well as the fact that the maintenance is typical and only disc brakes need to be changed every couple of years, makes the price premium paid an investment recoupable in few months or a year depending on the vehicle usage.
